Sprenger Turnado Bradoon 14mm Stainless Steel

Sprenger Turnado bradoon 14mm stainless steel small rings Item no. 40286 The TURNADO bits represent a new generation of loose ring snaffles. For manufacturing reasons, the two halves of the mouthpiece of conventional single-jointed bits differ in length, which means slightly more pressure is always exerted on one side. You avoid this problem of uneven pressure distribution by using a TURNADO bit. The joint in the middle of these bits has been inclined forward by 45° in order to ensure even pressure distribution on both edges of the tongue and to prevent pressure on the palate. This bit can counteract the horse’s natural crookedness and is often used for horses that tend to tilt or twist their heads. The rotation is marked by a slightly roughened surface (sandblasting) of the mouthpiece in the central area of the bit. Ring size: 55mm Material: Mouthpiece: stainless steel Cheeks: stainless steel
