Cavallo Women's Jackets

The decisive measurements are bust, waist and hip from the Cavallo size chart for women’s tops. In the chart, size 36 (S) is designed for 88–92 cm bust and 76–80 cm waist, size 38 (M) for 92–96 cm bust and 80–84 cm waist, and size 40 (L) for 96–100 cm bust.

The chart runs from 32 (XXS, bust 80–84 cm) to 46 (bust 112–118 cm). We stock Cavallo jackets in sizes 32 to 46, depending on the model. If your measurements are between two sizes, trying the jacket on with the jumper you want to wear underneath will help.

That depends on the model. Cavallo describes the Cavaldira technical parka as waterproof, windproof and breathable, with water-repellent, rubberised zips. The Cavaldanet short quilted jacket, on the other hand, is described as water-repellent and windproof.

According to the manufacturer, both models are made from 100% polyester with a fake-down fill, so without real down. For longer hacks in the rain a waterproof parka is the safer choice, while for dry, cold days at the yard the quilted jacket is often sufficient.

Yes, the Cavaldira technical parka is made for this. A zip in the centre back can be opened from the hem to the hip so that the parka sits well in the saddle. The back vent has an insert and a reflective strip.

According to Cavallo there is also a hood with drawstring that can be fixed in place, adjustable sleeve cuffs and reflective prints on chest, arm and forearm that provide better visibility at dusk. Inside there are two mobile phone pockets.

Above all, the material and the cut. The Cavaldelmi is a casual sweat hoodie made from polyester and cotton, brushed softly on the inside and with crystal artwork. The Cavaldelta is a hooded jacket made from lightweight microfleece with raglan sleeves. The Cavaldaphne is short and fitted, has a stand-up collar instead of a hood and is made from technical fabric with 5% elastane.

According to Cavallo, the Cavalnoami in technical fabric is quick-drying and odour-neutral. On Cavaldelmi, Cavaldelta and Cavalnoami the hood can be fixed at the back. Warmer is the Cavaldea blouson made from mink fleece.
