Eskadron Headcollars

Eskadron offers headcollars in sizes P1 and P2 for ponies, V for Thoroughbreds, W for Warmbloods and, in some models, WE as extra Warmblood. In our shop these sizes are called Pony I, Pony II, Thoroughbred, Warmblood and Warmblood Extra.

Which sizes are available depends on the model, and some headcollars only come in P1 and P2. Most Double-Pin models can also be adjusted at the chin. If you are unsure, bring your horse’s old, well fitting headcollar with you to our shop for comparison.

The names describe the fastening. Double-Pin headcollars have pin buckles on both sides and can also be adjusted at the chin. Pin Buckle means a pin buckle on the left and one at the chin. Sliding Buckle fastens on the left with a sliding buckle.

According to Eskadron all three variants have soft padding at the nose and poll. There are differences in appearance and fittings, for example silver, nickel-plated or gold-coloured metal parts depending on the model and collection.

The classic Eskadron headcollars are made of tear-resistant polypropylene webbing. Softshell headcollars have softshell made of polyamide and elastane on the outside and webbing on the inside, while Faux Leather headcollars have a leather-look PVC outer fabric, also with webbing on the inside.

The noseband and headpiece are padded, depending on the model with softshell or soft lining. For horses with sensitive coats Eskadron also offers versions with sheepskin padding. The exact material is stated in the description of each headcollar.

Yes, Eskadron coordinates the colours of headcollars and saddle pads within a collection. According to the manufacturer the Classic Sports collection includes saddle pads as well as accessories, while the Dynamic line offers coordinated highlights for horse and rider.

In our range you can recognise the collection by the product name, for example Platinum S26, CS26 for Classic Sports or Dynamic 26AW. On our page with Eskadron saddle pads you will also find items from these collections so that you can combine colours such as Orchid, Ocean or Pale Grey.
