HKM Women's Jackets

The Hillary riding jacket and the Ohio are made for wet weather. According to HKM the Hillary is made from waterproof membrane material with a hydrostatic head of 3,000 mm, has a waterproof two-way zip with storm flap and long riding vents with reflective elements.

The Ohio is made from waterproof material, is windproof, breathable and lined with soft fleece. Side riding vents with zip and an adjustable waist make it suitable for the yard. The Gilli on the other hand is water-repellent, so it is more suitable for dry, cold days. We stock the Hillary in black and the Ohio in pink and smoke blue.

A short jacket gets in the way less in the saddle, while a coat protects your seat and thighs. According to the manufacturer the HKM Gilli riding jacket is 60 cm long, padded and has a hood that can be adjusted with a drawstring. In size S the Hillary already measures 88 cm.

The quilted coat Toronto and the Washington riding coat are both cut as coats. Both have an integrated riding vent so that you also have freedom of movement on horseback. It is best to try on different lengths in our shop in Tangstedt to see which length feels comfortable for you in the saddle.

For cold weather HKM has developed the Toronto quilted coat with soft wadding fill and high thermal performance. It is water-repellent and windproof, has a large collar, fixed hood, warm sleeve cuffs and fleece-lined pockets.

The Washington riding coat has a waterproof outer fabric with padded, quilted lining, a peaked hood and reflective elements for visibility in the dark. HKM describes it as lightweight and made for changeable weather. We stock the Toronto in taupe and the Washington in silver.

According to HKM, Hillary, Ohio, Toronto and Washington are machine washable at 30 °C. For the Toronto quilted coat and the Washington riding coat HKM recommends a delicates cycle and washing them inside out, and on the Washington the hook-and-loop fastenings should be closed beforehand.

You may put the Toronto and the Hillary in the tumble dryer. HKM recommends using balls in the drum so that the fill stays loose. The Hillary should not be ironed. The care label on the respective model always takes precedence.
