Kingsland Saddle Pads

Kingsland makes saddle pads for horses with a height at the withers of 149–170 cm and for ponies with 125–135 cm. According to the size chart, the dressage saddle pad for horses measures 62 cm along the spine and 55 cm in depth, and the jumping saddle pad 57 cm along the spine and 49.5 cm in depth.

On our site the saddle pads are marked with DR for dressage and VSS for eventing and show jumping. The best option is to compare the measurements with your current saddle pad and your saddle size so that there is enough border at the front and back.

Most Kingsland models are available in a dressage and a jumping version, which differ in their cut. According to the size chart, the dressage saddle pad is cut longer and deeper than the jumping saddle pad.

For the horse model the measurements are 62 cm compared with 57 cm along the spine, 58 cm compared with 55.5 cm at the front depth and 55 cm compared with 49.5 cm in the middle. With Kingsland models such as KLLexie, KLAudrey or KLMona you will find both versions.

Yes, according to Kingsland the KLLexie has subtle glitter over the entire surface and a slightly shimmering finish. It also has a PU insert in the girth area, where the saddle pad is subject to the most wear, and mesh along the spine for better air circulation.

The outer material consists of 60% polyester and 40% nylon, the padding and lining are made of polyester. In our range you will also find the Lemory with a satin look, and we stock the KLLexie as a dressage saddle pad.

Kingsland recommends washing inside out at a maximum of 30 °C on a gentle cycle and not using fabric softener. For horse equipment the manufacturer advises hypoallergenic detergents so that your horse’s skin is not irritated.

The saddle pads should be air dried and not put in the tumble dryer. If you dry them in the sun, turn them inside out so the colours do not fade. It is also important not to wash after every ride, which preserves the material and padding.
