How many Leoveties can my horse have per day?

Leovet recommends feeding up to 150 g of Leoveties per horse per day as a reward. This information is stated on the data sheets for the Carrot and Linseed Oil and the Mint and Mango varieties, which are declared as complementary feed for horses.

The treats come in a reusable tub containing 1100 g. According to the manufacturer, you should store them in a cool, dry place. If your horse needs a special diet, it is best to discuss treats with your veterinary practice.

Am I allowed to feed Leoveties at competitions?

According to Leovet’s overview of doping relevance, valid from February 2026, all Leoveties varieties comply with the anti-doping and medication control rules (ADMR) and no withdrawal period is stated. Leovet refers here to the rules of the German Equestrian Federation (FN).

You as the rider are responsible for everything your horse receives before it competes. Before every competition you should therefore check the current version of the manufacturer’s information and the FN rules, because both can change.
