Which bridle size do I need from Passier?
Passier makes bridles in Pony, Thoroughbred, Warmblood and Warmblood extra and gives measurements for each size so you can check. The important one is measurement A: you measure over the head from corner of the mouth to corner of the mouth and subtract the diameter of the bit rings, so with standard 7 cm rings that is 14 cm.
In the middle hole, the fitting hole, measurement A is 97 cm for Thoroughbred, 102 cm for Warmblood and 107 cm for Warmblood extra. It is best to measure with two people and not over a bridle or headcollar. We stock Passier bridles in Thoroughbred, Warmblood and Warmblood extra.

How do I care for a bridle from Passier?
Passier recommends using only its own care products for saddles and bridles, in other words saddle soap, leather balm and bridle cleaner, so that the leather is not additionally attacked. According to the manufacturer, Passier products have a very long service life if they are well cared for.
Passier describes the process in its guide to saddle care: clean the leather with a sponge, saddle soap and water, dry it thoroughly, apply a thin layer of leather balm, leave it to soak in for about 15 minutes and remove any residue with a woollen cloth. The guide refers to saddles, but Passier recommends the care products mentioned equally for bridles.
