Where does the Pikeur brand come from?
Pikeur has its roots in Uchte, around 60 km north-west of Hanover. This is where the predecessor company Haefner & Co. started in 1957, making made-to-measure riding jackets and breeches. In 1964 it became Pikeur, which, according to the company, marked the beginning of the industrial production of riding wear in Germany.
Pikeur has been part of the Brinkmann Group from Herford since 1990, and the administration has been based in Werther since 2001. The sister brand Eskadron for horse equipment was founded in 1977.
