Schockemöhle Sports states that its items generally come up true to size, sizes are given in EU sizes. For the Marleen Style quilted gilet the size chart assigns S to German size 36, M to sizes 38 and 40, L to sizes 42 and 44.

For chest measurement, the chart gives for example 96 cm for S, 102 cm for M and 110 cm for L, the back length is between 55 and 65.5 cm. We stock the Marleen Style in XS to XXL. If you would like to wear the gilet over a thick jumper, it is best to try it on in our shop in Tangstedt.

The Marleen Style is a fitted quilted gilet with a high, warming collar, the Hella is a lightweight quilted gilet with a small stand-up collar. According to the manufacturer the Marleen Style is water-repellent, has a Polyfill fill, zipped pockets and a two-way zip that gives you room in the saddle.

The Hella is also quilted and has a two-way zip and two zipped pockets. The armholes and hem have elastic binding. The outer material is polyamide, the fill is polyester. For both models, water-repellent does not mean waterproof, for continuous rain a rain jacket is the better choice.
