How do I find the right size for Uvex riding gloves?
Measure the circumference of your hand and read the size from the Uvex size chart. According to the manufacturer, size 6 corresponds to 17 cm, size 7 to around 19 cm, size 7.5 to around 20.5 cm, size 8 to around 22 cm, size 9 to around 24 cm and size 10 to around 27 cm hand circumference.
The chart runs overall from size 4 with 15 cm to size 12 with 31 cm and applies equally to Uvex riding gloves, for example Sumair and Ceravent. A riding glove should fit snugly so that you can feel the reins well.

What is the difference between Uvex Sportstyle, Sumair and Ceravent?
Sportstyle is the classic everyday glove: elastic, grippy and with reinforcements where the reins run. Sumair uses a non-slip, hard-wearing PU palm for plenty of grip even on damp reins and mesh on the back of the hand that allows moisture to escape quickly.
Ceravent uses ceraspace technology, a ceramic coating that makes the glove very abrasion-resistant and lightweight (around 41 g according to the manufacturer). Elastic inserts provide stretch in all directions. All Uvex riding gloves are touchscreen-compatible and washable according to the manufacturer.
Which Uvex riding glove is suitable for winter?
For cold days there is the Uvex Sportstyle Winter. It has warming layers of Thinsulate and fleece that are intended to keep hands and fingers warm even in frost, and according to the manufacturer it still remains supple and breathable so that your contact with the reins does not suffer.
As with the regular Sportstyle, sewn-in elastic inserts provide stretch in both directions and reinforcements where the reins run provide long durability. The sizes correspond to the usual Uvex chart by hand circumference.

Can I wash Uvex riding gloves in the washing machine?
Yes, Uvex states that models such as Sumair, Sportstyle and Sportstyle Winter can be machine washed at up to 30 °C. According to the manufacturer, in principle all Uvex riding gloves are washable, including Ceravent with its ceramic coating.
Protect the grip areas and coating by not washing the gloves hotter than stated. Practical for everyday stable life: the fingertips on the Uvex models are made from an open-pored material so that you can operate your smartphone without taking the gloves off.
