Waldhausen Buckets & Troughs

The Flexi tubs differ mainly in height and diameter, the material and construction are the same. According to Waldhausen the 10-litre tub measures 19 cm in height with a diameter of 35 cm, the 17-litre tub is 27.5 cm high with the same diameter. The 15-litre version is wider at 40 cm and 22.5 cm high, the 28-litre tub has a diameter of 40 cm and a height of 36.5 cm.

All sizes are made from flexible, food-safe plastic, have two carrying handles and are manufactured in Germany. They are suitable as feed, water or transport buckets. Waldhausen offers a matching lid for the 10-litre and 17-litre tub.

The Waldhausen show feed manger is designed for use when you are out and about, and can be hung up in the stable, in the horse trailer and at shows. According to the manufacturer it is made from shatterproof plastic, holds 12 litres and measures 38 cm in width, 37 cm in height and 26 cm in depth.

Waldhausen offers the manger with and without carrying handle. In our range you will find the show trough with carrying handle and the plastic show feed manger. Before you buy, it is best to measure where you want to hang the manger in your trailer.

The smaller the mesh, the more slowly your horse eats. Waldhausen offers haynets with large mesh of about 10 x 10 cm, fine-mesh nets with around 5 x 5 cm and SlowFeed nets with only 3 x 3 cm. According to the manufacturer the SlowFeed version is intended to slow down feed intake and so support digestion.

The capacity depends on the model. The standard nets with 10 x 10 cm and 5 x 5 cm hold about 2–4 kg of hay, the large SlowFeed net about 4–6 kg. We stock mesh sizes 10 x 10 cm, 5 x 5 cm and 3 x 3 cm.

The muesli bowls with 2, 5 and 8 litres are feed bowls with lids that protect hard feed or muesli from mice. The lid can be written on so you can prepare rations for individual horses. Waldhausen manufactures the bowls in Germany from food-safe plastic.

The 2-litre bowl is 9 cm high with a diameter of 21 cm, the 5-litre bowl 13 cm with 30 cm diameter. The XL bowl with 8 litres is recommended by the manufacturer for shows and training clinics. The Waldhausen mash scoop is suitable for mixing mash and also lets you scrape residues thoroughly out of the bucket.
