Waldhausen Saddle Extras

Waldhausen offers the X-Line breastplate in several versions. The basic leather model has stainless steel buckles, an elastic insert at the neckpiece and removable martingale forks. The Professional has a bridge of soft leather, padding at the chest and withers and is attached to saddle and girth with snap hooks.

The Work version also comes with an elastic insert and snap ring at the withers, so you can put it on without having to untie your horse. The version with a long bridge is attached at three points and allows plenty of freedom for the shoulder. You will find the X-Line breastplate with elastic in our Martingales & Training Aids category.

With a crupper attachment you can add a crupper to your saddle afterwards. The Waldhausen crupper attachment made of leather is, for example, simply pushed between the saddle panels and according to the manufacturer fits almost any saddle.

The crupper itself keeps the saddle in place. The Star crupper made of leather is multi-adjustable and softly padded, the working length is 50 to 58 cm for Shetland, 54 to 61 cm for Pony and 66 to 74 cm for Warmblood. You will find the Eco and Star crupper attachments in our shop.

Yes, according to the manufacturer the saddle covers from Waldhausen are intended for all saddles, the cotton model for almost all. The fleece cover is made of soft fleece material.

There is also a water-repellent cover made of 600D material with soft fleece inside and side pockets for the girth. We stock the Waldhausen fleece saddle cover in grey.
