Waldhausen Stable Accessories

Waldhausen is an equestrian company from Cologne, Waldhausen GmbH & Co. KG. It was founded in 1836 when Anton Waldhausen opened a saddlery in Cologne. Since the year 2000 the company headquarters, with its own logistics centre, has been located in Cologne-Ossendorf.

In addition to the Waldhausen brand, the in-house brands E·L·T and SWING belong to the company, and Waldhausen also distributes brands from other manufacturers. The company operates as a wholesaler for equestrian products and supplies specialist retailers. According to the company, more than 12,000 products are available in over 70 countries.

The Haynet DUO has two sides with different mesh sizes. The black side has approximately 3 cm mesh for very slow feeding, the side in mistletoe approximately 5 cm. This lets you adapt the feeding speed to your horse.

Unfilled, the net measures 120 x 90 cm and, according to Waldhausen, holds approximately 7 to 9 kg hay. The knotless construction is intended to protect teeth and gums. Heat resistant up to 100 °C, the net can also be used for steamed hay. For hanging there is the special aluminium hay net holder, which can be operated one-handed.

The Waldhausen Hay Ball rations hay and slows down intake, which according to the manufacturer is gentle on the stomach and keeps the horse occupied for a long time. You fill it with hay and also with carrots or pieces of apple and hang it up on the supplied 2 m long strap. The ball is made of flexible thermoplastic rubber and measures 22 cm in diameter.

The horse toy Lama Lotte crackles when squeezed, because there is a replaceable plastic bottle in its belly. Both products are expressly intended only for horses. We stock the Hay Ball in pink and green.

The adjustable rug holder is hooked into the stable door without drilling, adapts to widths from 76 to 111 cm and has two holders for headcollar or bridle. You attach the stable bag made of robust 600 denier material to the stable with two straps. It offers space for leg protection, grooming kit or headcollar and has an adjustable divider.

For tying up there are transparent, sheathed tie chains with panic hook and snap hook in lengths of 55, 90 and 150 cm. You can store feed in the stackable 3-litre Multibox made of food-safe plastic, which Waldhausen manufactures in Germany.

Waldhausen states that the folding mounting block is suitable for a load of up to 100 kg. Non-slip studs on the tread surface give grip, and a handle makes it easier to carry. Set up, the stool measures 39 cm in height, 38 cm in width and 32 cm in depth.

Folded, it can be stowed away quickly and then measures 52 cm. Waldhausen also manufactures the 0.5 litre feed scoop and the sack scoop with approximately 2 litres, with volume scale and spout, in Germany from food-safe plastic.
