What is Effol SuperStar-Shine shine spray for?

Julia Lühr · Accepted Answer

Effol SuperStar-Shine is a shine spray for coat, mane and tail. According to the manufacturer it gives a natural shine without making the hair feel artificial and makes it easier to comb: knots, shavings and straw are easier to remove.

Effol also recommends it before clipping because it makes the job easier. We stock SuperStar-Shine in the classic version as well as with lavender and with orange-ginger, each in 750 ml, and for children there is also Sternen-Glanz.

Question 4

Which Effol mane spray is the right one?

Julia Lühr · Accepted Answer

That depends on whether you want to care for the hair or plait it. According to Effol, the Mane-Tail-Liquid provides more volume and easier combing. It contains silicone oils and conditioning oils that are intended to reduce drying out of the dock and crest of the mane. Apply, leave to work briefly and then comb through carefully.

SuperStyling-Spray is designed for plaiting: spray on beforehand, plait and then spray again. You can also use it to fix a loose mane on one side, then brush it out again later.
