Can I see EGO7 Riding Boots in person in Tangstedt near Hamburg?

How do I measure myself for EGO7 riding boots?
You need three measurements: shoe size, calf circumference and boot height. Measure your calf circumference standing up at the widest point, with the tape measure held horizontally, neither too tight nor too loose. Measure the height with your leg straight, from the back of the knee down to the ground.
EGO7 recommends adding 0.5 cm, and no more than 1 cm, to the measured height, because riding boots drop a little after a few rides. With these values you can use the manufacturer’s size chart to select the right combination. In our shop in Tangstedt you can also try on EGO7 riding boots.

What do size codes such as S/0 or M/+1 mean at EGO7?
The letter stands for the calf width, the number for the boot height. In the EGO7 size chart the calf widths range from XS to L. The height is given as -1, 0, +1 or +2, where 0 is the standard height and +1 means a taller leg. For each shoe size there are several such combinations.
An example from the manufacturer’s chart: size 39 in M/0 has a height of 46 cm and a calf width of about 35.4 to 37.5 cm. For the Contact boot there is a separate chart with the variants Slim, Regular, Slim +1 and Regular +1.

What are the key features of the EGO7 Orion?
The Orion is a full-grain leather riding boot with decorative elastic lacing and an especially soft front section of the shaft. The inside of the calf is covered with E-Tex, a material which, according to EGO7, is very hard-wearing and offers good grip. An elastic insert at the back provides freedom of movement.
There is also a large YKK zip, an antibacterial, breathable double insole and a hand-stitched rubber outsole with a grippy tread. The Orion is available in black and brown and at Ahrens Reitsport we stock it in both colours. EGO7 is based in Susegana in the province of Treviso in Italy.
How do I look after EGO7 leather riding boots properly?
Wipe the riding boots with a damp cloth after riding and let them dry in a cool, dry and airy place, not on a radiator or in the sun. Then apply boot cream in the colour of the leather with a soft brush and polish with a wool cloth. Boot trees help them keep their shape.
The E-Tex sections at the calf must not be treated with cream or polish, as this can permanently damage them. They should only be wiped with a damp cloth. When putting the boots on and taking them off, always open the zip completely down to the heel and keep it free from sweat and dirt.
