EGO7 at Ahrens Reitsport
EGO7 is an Italian equestrian brand for riding boots and riding wear. The brand combines Italian design with the aim of offering riding boots that fit as if made to measure and allow full freedom of movement for dressage, show jumping, cross-country and yard work. In addition to tall riding boots there are paddock boots, half chaps, riding breeches and show wear.

How do I find the right size for EGO7 riding boots?
For EGO7 riding boots you need three measurements: shoe size, calf width and boot height. The shoe size corresponds to your usual European size. Measure the calf while standing at the widest point, with the tape held horizontally.
Measure the height while standing with your leg straight, from the back of the knee down to the floor. EGO7 then adds 0.5 to 1 cm, because new riding boots drop a little after you have ridden in them a few times. The safest option is to try them on in our shop.
How do I care for EGO7 leather riding boots?
Let the riding boots dry after riding and store them in a cool, dry and airy place, never on a heater or in the sun. Remove sand, dust and sweat thoroughly before you start caring for them.
Then use a soft brush to apply boot cream in a suitable colour to the leather only, leave it to soak in briefly and then polish with a wool cloth. Boot trees help the riding boots keep their shape. Wipe E-Tex parts only with a damp cloth, without cream or spray.
What do I need to watch out for with the zip?
Keep the zip clean and always pull the slider straight, without twisting it. EGO7 uses YKK zips which, according to the manufacturer, are very hard-wearing, but grease, dust and horse sweat will damage them over time.
When closing the zip, make sure that neither your riding breeches nor your socks get caught in it. New riding boots fit closely at first, which is why EGO7 recommends taking extra care when putting them on for the first time.
