Equistar at Ahrens Reitsport
EQUISTAR is a coat, tail and mane shine spray from Stassek DIVERSIT GmbH in Ahaus in the Münsterland region. EQUISTAR was the product with which the company began manufacturing care products for horses in 1981. According to the company, most of the work there is still done by hand today and the products are made in Germany, including the bottles and packaging. Stassek supplies exclusively to specialist retailers.
At Ahrens Reitsport you can get EQUISTAR as a 750 ml bottle with spray head and as a 2 litre canister for refilling.
Where does EQUISTAR come from?
EQUISTAR is manufactured by Stassek DIVERSIT GmbH in Ahaus. The spray was the company’s first product in 1981, later followed by leather care, dog care and further horse care products.
Stassek is a family business that manufactures its care products itself. According to the manufacturer, raw materials, bottles and packaging are sourced from Germany. The products are only available from specialist retailers.
Which size of EQUISTAR makes sense for me?
For getting started and for your grooming kit, the 750 ml bottle with spray head is suitable. If you use EQUISTAR regularly or look after several horses, you can choose the 2 litre canister and refill the spray bottle from it.
This way you save packaging and always have a supply in the yard. You can order both sizes online or collect them from our pick-up station at our shop in Tangstedt.
Does the loyalty card discount also apply to EQUISTAR?
No, the Ahrens loyalty card discount only applies to equestrian articles and not to feed and care products. EQUISTAR is one of the care products and is therefore excluded.
If you have any questions about the right care for coat, mane and tail, our feed and care advice service in our shop is happy to help. Within Germany we offer free shipping for orders of €100 or more.
