Eskadron Bandage Pads

Eskadron offers the Climatex bandage pads in four sizes: for horses 45 x 45 cm (L) and 32 x 45 cm (S), for ponies 35 x 35 cm (Pony L) and 25 x 35 cm (Pony S). They are supplied as a set of four.

At Ahrens Reitsport you will find the 45 x 45 cm size in white, 32 x 45 cm in white and black, as well as the pony version with 25 x 35 cm in white. Choose the height to match the length of the bandages you use.

Climatex is a material by Eskadron with open air channels and alternately arranged cushioning ribs made from permanently elastic foam. Compared with solid fabrics this is intended to improve air circulation and prevent heat build-up. According to the manufacturer, even under heavy strain a lot of air remains in the channels and ribs.

The pads are elastic, provide cushioning under bandages and are intended to prevent pressure marks. Eskadron also states that they are suitable for medical dressings. They consist of 47 percent polyurethane, 28 percent cotton and 25 percent polyester.

Eskadron specifies that Climatex can be washed at up to 30 °C and that the pads should not go in the tumble dryer. So after washing, let them air-dry.

This care instruction applies to all Climatex items from the brand. In addition to the bandage pads in sizes S, L, Pony S and Pony L, this also includes a Climatex trapeze pad for use under the saddle. Because all sizes come in a set of four, you have a separate pad for each leg.
