Eskadron Bandages

Eskadron fleece bandages come in two lengths: Full at 3.5 m for Warmbloods and Pony at 2.8 m. They are supplied in a set of 4 with hook-and-loop fastening and a zip-up bag, and according to the manufacturer the material is polyester.

In our product data the Warmblood size is listed as WB 3.5 and the Pony size as P 2.8 m. At Ahrens Reitsport you will find various Eskadron fleece bandages, for example from the Core, Heritage and Platinum ranges, in many colours that match other Eskadron items.

Climatex pads are placed under the bandage as padding. According to Eskadron, the material has open air channels and alternating ribs of permanently elastic foam. This is intended to allow better air circulation and prevent heat build-up under the bandage.

Size S measures 32 by 45 cm and is offered in a set of 4. There is also a larger L size and Pony sizes. Eskadron describes the pads as protection against pressure marks and says they are also suitable for use with dressings. In addition there are elastic Climatex bandages. Climatex is washable at up to 30 degrees and should not be tumble dried.

For national and international show jumping classes, the Eskadron brushing boots guide specifies fetlock boots or open-front tendon boots. The German competition rules (LPO) and the FEI rules allow a maximum overall length of 20 cm, a soft lining with no pressure points and a maximum of 500 g of equipment per leg, and wraparound fastenings are not permitted.

Even stricter regulations apply for young horse classes. Always check the current schedule and the applicable rulebook before the competition.
