Eskadron classifies rugs according to back length: M corresponds to 135 cm, L to 145 cm and XL to 155 cm. This is why many exercise sheets and exercise rugs from the brand have designations such as L 145 or XL 155. There are also in-between sizes such as M- with 130 cm and M+ with 140 cm.

Models with dual sizes have their own measurements. For the lunging and exercise sheet Lunge & Exercise, for example, Eskadron specifies a back length of 105 cm for S/M and 120 cm for L/XL. For rugs in L/XL such as the horse-walker rug, you should therefore check the measurements given for the specific model.

What can the Eskadron softshell exercise sheet do and how do I wash it?

The Softshell Fleecelining exercise sheet is made from elastic softshell which, according to Eskadron, is highly water-repellent, and it is lined with fleece on the inside. It has a saddle cut-out, fastens at the withers at the front with hook-and-loop and has reflective lettering on both sides.

For softshell Eskadron recommends: close all fastenings, use a gentle cycle up to 30 °C, a liquid mild detergent and no fabric softener. You should avoid tumble drying, ironing and dry cleaning.

How do I care for Eskadron rugs with Faux Fur?

At Eskadron, Faux Fur is a synthetic sheepskin which looks very similar to real sheepskin. It is soft, reduces pressure and protects against rubbing. Compared with real sheepskin, the manufacturer names longer durability and machine washability as advantages.

Wash Faux Fur in a laundry bag with all fastenings closed, on a gentle cycle at a maximum of 30 °C and with a mild detergent. It should not go in the tumble dryer. In our range you will find the Eskadron exercise sheet with Faux Fur from the Heritage collection in the colour Almond.

How do fleece, acrylic and Dralon differ at Eskadron?

Eskadron uses various materials for cooler rugs and exercise sheets. The fleece cooler rug is made from polyester in anti-pilling quality. The Acrylic cooler rug has an outer material of wool acrylic and teddy fleece on the inside. According to Eskadron, Dralon combines the advantages of cotton with the properties of synthetic fibres, and in the Dralon rug it consists predominantly of cotton and polyacrylic.
