Eskadron Overreach Boots

Eskadron overreach boots are available in S, M, L, XL and XXL. According to a retailer’s size chart, size L measures about 21 cm around the top and 46 cm around the bottom with a height of 11.5 cm, size M is 20 and 42 cm, and XL is 24 and 50 cm.

The boot should sit comfortably around the pastern without rubbing the bulbs of the heel. If your horse is between two sizes, this chart suggests that the larger size is the better choice. If in doubt, the best option is to try the boot directly on your horse.

That depends on the model. The Allround is made from tear-resistant synthetic leather, is lined with 5.5 mm thick shock-absorbing neoprene and has a double hook-and-loop fastening. Softslate boots have a Softslate outer material, neoprene on the inside and a soft neoprene edge.

The EVA Faux Fur, made from EVA foam, is particularly light and, according to Eskadron, easy to wash clean. The manufacturer also describes the Softslate and the Faux Leather Faux Fur as low-maintenance and washable.

Eskadron offers the fur trim in two versions: real sheepskin and Faux Fur, meaning synthetic fur. The Allround Lambskin has a sheepskin trim which, according to the manufacturer, protects against rubbing and pressure marks and is suitable for horses with sensitive skin.

Models with Faux Fur include the EVA Faux Fur, the Faux Leather Faux Fur from the Heritage collection and the Faux Fur made from robust 1680 denier material. Eskadron describes Faux Fur as soft and easy to care for.

These are the collections that the colour of the boot is matched to. CS stands for Classic Sports, the sporty line with colours such as Ocean, Orchid, Sierra and Navy. Heritage is a limited-edition, elegant collection, and Platinum is inspired by dressage and features shimmering accents.
