In addition to shoe size, the width and the height of the leg are what count for HKM. The manufacturer gives both for each size in centimetres. For the Julie Kids in standard width, for example, the width in size 34 is 27.5–29.5 cm and the height is 35 cm. The narrow variant in the same size is 26.5–28.5 cm wide.

You should therefore measure your child’s calf circumference and leg length and compare the values with the table for the specific model. When trying them on in our shop in Tangstedt we are happy to help you find the right combination.

That depends on the model. According to HKM, the Julie Kids is made from quality leather and lined with synthetic material. On the Sevilla Kids the foot area is real leather, while the leg is synthetic leather.

According to the manufacturer, the Aberdeen Kids is made from robust synthetic leather with numerous decorative seams. If it is important to you that the leg is leather, the Julie Kids is the right choice among these three models. You will find all three with us in black.

There is a bit of growing room built in. The Julie Kids has an elastic insert at the back which, according to HKM, ensures a good fit and leaves a little space as the child grows. Aberdeen Kids and Sevilla Kids also have an elastic insert.

All three models have a zip at the back with press-stud fastening and a spur rest. The Julie Kids also has a long zip pull to make them easier to put on and a moderate Spanish top. The Sevilla Kids comes with a non-slip sole and quick lacing.

The details describe how high and how wide the leg is cut. HKM offers the Julie Kids, for example, in standard height with standard width, in standard height with a narrower width and as an extra tall variant with a narrower width. For the Aberdeen Kids there is, in addition to standard height and standard width, a narrower variant and a tall size.
