Kieffer Bridles

Kieffer manufactures its bridles in sizes such as Thoroughbred and Warmblood, and for some models also in G-Pony and extra Warmblood. We stock Kieffer bridles in Thoroughbred (VB) and Warmblood (WB). The sizes differ, among other things, in the width of the noseband: on the Comfort Paris it measures 35 mm in Thoroughbred and 40 mm in Warmblood according to Kieffer.

Kieffer does not give head measurements for the sizes on the product pages. It is therefore best to compare with your existing, well fitting bridle, or get advice from us in our shop in Tangstedt.

The Amy is made from extra soft Ultrasoft leather and has an anatomically shaped, softly padded Swedish noseband with an integrated flash strap that can be removed without leaving marks. The headpiece is anatomically shaped, padded and cut away at the ears.

The Comfort Paris has a padded comfort headpiece with cut-outs for the ears, a noseband with patent leather and a curved browband with crystals from Swarovski. Kieffer describes it as having a flash noseband, and we also offer it with a drop noseband. Both bridles are supplied with web reins.

Yes, Kieffer offers individual bridle parts as spare parts, for example cheekpieces, throatlatches and flash straps, each in plain leather and in the extra soft Ultrasoft quality. This means a worn or lost part can be replaced without having to change the whole bridle.

Kieffer uses vegetable tanned bridle leather and stainless steel fittings for its bridles. For care, Kieffer recommends two steps for its Tackwell range: first clean the leather with a damp, well soaped sponge and saddle soap until sweat and dirt are removed, then dry it.

After a few minutes in the air, apply leather balm thinly with a clean cloth (not a microfibre cloth), leave it to soak in for about 15 minutes and remove any residue. If in doubt, test new care products first on a hidden area.
