Kingsland Women's Breeches

Kingsland sizes riding breeches in numbered sizes according to body measurements. According to the size chart, size 38 corresponds to a 74 cm waist and 99 cm hips, and size 40 to a 78 cm waist and 103 cm hips. Riding tights are available in XS to XL, and size M fits a 74–79 cm waist and 98–102 cm hips.

If you are between two sizes, choose the smaller one for a closer fit or the larger one for a looser fit. If waist and hips point to different sizes, Kingsland recommends choosing the size according to the hip measurement.

With the shape riding breeches Kingsland offers different cuts for different body types in the same size. The H shape is cut straight for a slim upper body and slim hips with little volume at seat and thighs. The A shape has more width at hips and thighs, and the waistband tapers towards the waist. There is also an X shape for curvy, athletic figures.

Stay with your usual size and only choose the shape that suits your build. The KLKatty is an A-shape style, while the KLKornelia is available as an H-shape.

For cold days Kingsland uses fabrics that are brushed on the inside. The KLKornelia is made from brushed F-Tec4 knit, which according to the manufacturer insulates well and remains dimensionally stable, while being breathable and offering 4-way stretch and compression. The KLMisha riding tights are softly brushed and warm on the inside, also with compression and quick-dry function.

Kingsland also describes the KLAmanda as breathable, fast-drying winter tights for training and everyday yard work. All three have a mobile phone pocket.

For the KLMia leather tights Kingsland gives a special tip: at first they fit very tightly, but the leather gradually adapts to the body. If they appear baggy at the knee after many rides, put the tights in the freezer overnight and the leather will pull back into shape.

According to Kingsland you should wash textile riding breeches inside out at a maximum of 30 °C on a gentle cycle, without fabric softener, and air dry them. As a general rule: wash less often and follow the care label.
