The millimetre indication specifies the size of the crystals on the browband, not the width of the leather. Otto Schumacher decorates the models Rivoli XS and Tiffany XL with 8 mm crystals from Swarovski, and the model Rivoli 10mm with larger 10 mm stones.

According to the manufacturer, the settings for the stones are available in silver, gold, black or rose gold, and the colours of the crystals can be freely combined. If you wish, a top layer made of patent leather or printed motif leather is possible. We stock the curved browbands Rivoli XS (8 mm), Rivoli (10 mm) and XL (8 mm).

As standard Otto Schumacher produces browbands in sizes Pony, Thoroughbred, Warmblood and Warmblood Extra. According to the manufacturer, special sizes are generally possible, but there are technical limits and these are requested via specialist retailers.

You must keep leather care products and oils well away from the crystals, otherwise the stones can become dull or come loose according to the manufacturer. Only care for the leather parts and work carefully around the stones.

After riding it is enough to wipe the leather with a slightly damp cloth. Remove heavier dirt with lukewarm water and a soft cloth, then dry off with a cotton cloth. Do not let the leather dry on a radiator or by the stove, because it will become brittle. A leather balm then refreshes the protective layer again.

Yes, with Otto Schumacher every part can be reordered individually. The list of spare parts includes, among others, headpieces for the models Warendorf, München, Tokyo and Bellevue, as well as cheekpieces, throatlatches, flash straps and various reins. Nosebands are available in many designs, for example drop, cavesson or Swedish.
