Which size do I need in Veredus brushing boots?
The crucial factor is the circumference of the cannon bone, measured in the middle, and measured separately for the front and hind legs. According to the Veredus size chart, for the front legs size S fits 17–19 cm, M fits 19.5–22 cm and L fits 22.5–24 cm.
The values are higher for the hind legs: S for 19.5–21.5 cm, M for 22–24 cm and L for 24.5–26 cm. You should therefore measure both pairs of legs before choosing brushing boots for front and hind. A soft tape measure is suitable for taking the measurement.

What is the difference between Carbon Gel Absolute and Carbon Gel Vento?
Both protect with a shell made of carbon and Nitrexgel, but the Absolute covers a larger area. Veredus has extended the protection there in a Y-shape from the flexor tendon down to the fetlock and has provided stronger support for the fetlock. The 3 mm thick gel layer of the Absolute is intended to reduce impacts by more than 40 per cent.
The Vento focuses on double ventilation: heat passes through micro-perforated neoprene into a 3D mesh and is released upwards through an opening. The Absolute uses this ventilation system as well. Both models were developed together with Marcus Ehning.

Which Veredus brushing boots are suitable for daily training?
For work at home Veredus has developed the TR Pro. It is made of neoprene and Lycra, has a shell of elastic polyurethane (Polyflex) and fastens with elastic straps and double hook-and-loop closure. The thin material makes it light.
The TR Pro is available as a brushing boot for the front legs and as a fetlock boot for the hind legs. The Carbon Gel models Absolute and Vento, which Veredus equips with carbon and a gel layer, are intended for show jumping with particularly comprehensive protection.

What are Veredus Magnetik stable boots intended for?
The Magnetik boots are intended for rest periods in the stable. The Magnetic Stable Boot Evo has 28 magnets at the tendons and fetlock and is described by Veredus as a comfortable alternative to stable bandages. The Magnetik Boot 4 Hours works with 40 neodymium magnets.
Veredus expects this to stimulate blood circulation and reduce swelling after work. These are manufacturer’s claims and no substitute for treatment. If your horse has any problems with its legs, your vet should look at them first.

How do I wash Veredus Magnetik boots?
According to Veredus, you can wash all products in the Magnetik range by hand with neutral soap. The magnets are not damaged by this, their strength is not reduced by washing or by sunlight and, according to the manufacturer, lasts for about 20 years.
With the Magnetic Stable Boot Evo the inner lining made of Dry-Fast-Dry material can also be removed and replaced using hook-and-loop fastenings. This is practical if the boots are used regularly in the stable.
