Animo at Ahrens Reitsport
Animo is an Italian brand for riding wear. The range includes riding breeches for women and men, show jackets, which are also available made to measure, show shirts and accessories. According to the brand page all garments are made in Italy. For its riding breeches Animo uses a silicone grip in its own AGS technology, depending on the model at the knee or as a full seat.
At Ahrens Reitsport you will find Animo riding breeches for women and men with full seat, as well as riding socks.
Where does the brand Animo come from?
Animo comes from Italy. On its brand page the company gives an address in Cassola in the province of Vicenza and states that all garments are made in Italy.
According to its own account Animo started with a few technical show jackets. Later riding breeches, show shirts and further clothing for riders were added. Besides off-the-peg garments the brand offers show jackets made to individual specifications.
What is the difference between knee patch and full seat in Animo riding breeches?
A knee patch is only positioned on the inside of the knees, whereas a full seat extends from the knee over the inside of the thighs to the seat. At Animo the grip is made from silicone using the in-house AGS technology.
A full seat gives more support in the saddle and is often chosen for dressage. A knee patch allows more freedom of movement and is common in show jumping.
What size do I need in Animo riding breeches?
Animo lists riding breeches in Italian sizes, for example I 42. These sizes do not automatically correspond to German clothing sizes, so it is worth comparing with a pair of breeches that fits you well.
The safest way to find the right size is to try them on. In our shop in Tangstedt you can try on riding breeches and in our riding breeches fitting we look together at the waistband, length and fit of the grip.
