Equiline at Ahrens Reitsport
Equiline is an Italian equestrian brand from the Province of Padua. The brothers Paolo and Renato Marchetto, who had been supplying fashion brands with fabrics since the 1970s, founded it in 1989. It all began with a saddle pad made of natural fibres. Today the company is based in Trebaseleghe and offers competition and leisure clothing for women, men and children, horse equipment and saddles.
At Ahrens Reitsport you will mainly find riding clothing from Equiline: show jackets, show shirts and show riding breeches, riding breeches for women and men, shirts, hats and socks.
Where does Equiline come from?
Equiline comes from Italy, specifically from the Province of Padua in Veneto. The brand was founded in 1989 by the brothers Paolo and Renato Marchetto, both competition riders themselves. The logo with the three horses stands for the three horses of the founders.
The company headquarters are in Trebaseleghe. According to the company, Equiline is now available in more than 800 shops in over 60 countries.
What is X-Cool in Equiline show jackets?
X-Cool Evo is a technical fabric that Equiline has developed itself for its show jackets. According to the manufacturer it is breathable, elastic and water-repellent. In a typical women’s jacket, the outer material consists of 85% polyamide and 15% elastane, and the lining is polyester.
The stretch content gives you freedom of movement in the saddle. According to the label many of these jackets are machine washable. Even so, always follow the care label on your own model.
How do I find the right size for Equiline show jackets?
Use the size chart that Equiline provides for the individual models, rather than relying only on your usual clothing size. Measure your chest, waist and arm length and compare the measurements with the chart.
The safest option is to try on the jacket in our shop in Tangstedt, ideally with a show shirt underneath. In the riding position your shoulders and arms should have enough room to move. For items that are ordered in specially you should allow about 2–3 weeks for delivery.
Which collections does Equiline offer?
Equiline divides its range into a main collection for competitions and several lifestyle lines. The competition collection is available for women, men and children, with jackets, shirts and riding breeches for show jumping, dressage and hunting.
There are also leisure and lifestyle lines such as Contemporary, Evolution and Glamour, as well as clothing ranges that clubs and teams can have customised. Under the name Saddle Division, Equiline also offers saddles.
