Euro Star at Ahrens Reitsport
Euro-Star has been making riding breeches and riding wear since 1959. The brand began in a small studio in Germany. Today the head office is in the Netherlands and works closely with the German studio and its own production facility. According to the company, design and manufacturing are in its own hands and production takes place in Europe. In addition to riding breeches for women, men and children there are tops and jackets, as well as accessories for the horse.
At Ahrens Reitsport you will mainly find riding breeches from Euro-Star, along with shirts, show shirts, hats, socks and saddle pads.
Where does the Euro-Star brand come from?
Euro-Star originally comes from Germany, where the first riding breeches were sewn in a small studio in 1959. Since then, riding breeches have been at the heart of the brand.
Today Euro-Star is headquartered in the Netherlands. The studio in Germany and its own production facility are still part of the company. According to the company, everything from design to production is done in-house and manufacturing takes place exclusively in Europe.
What is GripConnect in Euro-Star riding breeches?
GripConnect is a grip developed by Euro-Star made from elastic yarn coated with silicone. According to the manufacturer, it distributes pressure evenly and provides security in the saddle.
Alongside GripConnect, Euro-Star also offers riding breeches with classic silicone grip. For the silicone grip Euro-Star names the Swiss textile manufacturer Schoeller as its supplier. You will notice most clearly which variant you prefer when you try them on.
Full seat or knee patch: which Euro-Star riding breeches suit me?
A full seat gives more security in the saddle, while a knee patch allows more freedom of movement. With Euro-Star Fullgrip, the silicone grip covers the entire seat area, while with Kneegrip it is only at the knee.

How do Euro-Star riding breeches come up?
According to its own information, Euro-Star attaches great importance to fit and positions seams so that they flatter the figure. The fabrics are lightweight, breathable and stretchy, and the seams are elastic.
