Mountain Horse Women's Breeches

Mountain Horse sizes its women’s riding breeches by waist and hip measurement. According to the size chart, size 36 corresponds to a 67 cm waist and 93 cm hip, size 38 fits 70 cm and 96 cm, size 40 fits 74 cm and 99 cm, and size 42 fits 78 cm and 102 cm.

The manufacturer gives the inside leg length as 71 cm for the regular length and 75 cm for the long version. If you are between two sizes and unsure, try both on in our shop in Tangstedt.

All four have a full seat, but differ in the grip material and in the details. From the manufacturer, the Diana is available with a silicone full seat or with a full seat made of imitation leather, both with a high waistband, two front pockets with zip and a flexible leg cuff.

Estelle and Chantal have the MH Grip as a full seat, a mobile phone pocket on the leg and a YKK zip at the front, with the Chantal also featuring Swarovski details on the front pockets. The Kate combines a silicone full seat with a subtle MH logo as a heat print and six pockets.

Before washing, close the zip and turn the riding breeches inside out. According to Mountain Horse this protects the fabric and edges and prevents the zip from damaging anything.

Breeches with a seat made of PU imitation leather, such as the Diana Faux Leather, should be carefully pulled into shape while still damp after washing. The symbols on the care label show which temperature is permitted and whether the breeches can go in the tumble dryer.

Mountain Horse describes the fabric of Estelle, Kate and Diana as breathable, moisture wicking and resistant to dirt and liquids. The white Diana is shipped by the manufacturer in a protective zip bag.
