Iwest at Ahrens Reitsport
iWEST is a family business from Hohenpeißenberg in Upper Bavaria that develops complementary feeds for horses and produces them at its own company site. The products were developed by the vet Dr Dorothe Meyer and her team, and the company can look back on over 30 years of experience. The focus is on individual feeding, tailored to the use and needs of each horse.
At Ahrens Reitsport you will find selected supplements from iWEST in larger containers, including Magnolythe S100, Magnokollagen and Magnoguard.
Where does the iWEST brand come from?
iWEST comes from Bavaria. iWEST Tierernährung Dr. Meyer GmbH & Co. KG is based in Hohenpeißenberg where it develops and produces complementary feeds for horses.
The formulas were created under the direction of the vet Dr Dorothe Meyer in cooperation with scientists, competition riders and breeders. According to the company, around 40,000 horse lovers rely on the products, from leisure horses to sport horses.
What are Magnolythe S100, Magnokollagen and Magnoguard intended for?
The three products cover different areas. Magnolythe S100 is part of iWEST’s mineral feed range for basic nutrition because, according to the manufacturer, today’s forage no longer contains all the necessary nutrients.
Magnokollagen is intended for the musculoskeletal system and contains, among other things, collagen peptides, glucosamine and vitamin K1. Magnoguard targets the stomach and contains, for example, mucilaginous substances from linseed and Lithothamnium. If your horse has any health problems, please ask your vet first.
