LeMieux at Ahrens Reitsport
LeMieux is a British equestrian brand that was founded in 2006 by Olympic event rider Robert Lemieux and his wife Lisa. The company headquarters are in Wellow in the English county of Hampshire. The brand made its name with saddle pads, and rugs, brushing boots, headcollars and riding wear were added later, often in coordinated colour collections.
At Ahrens Reitsport you will find saddle pads, bandages, brushing boots and overreach boots, fly rugs and fly masks, as well as grooming kit from LeMieux. For riders there are shirts, socks, hats and accessories.
Where does the LeMieux brand come from?
LeMieux is from Great Britain. The brand was founded in 2006 by Robert and Lisa Lemieux. Robert Lemieux was an eventing rider at the Olympic Games, and after a serious injury, safe, high-quality equipment became his priority.
The company is based in Wellow in Hampshire and, according to its own statements, is still run by riders to this day. LeMieux has been exporting abroad since 2009.
Why are LeMieux saddle pads so popular?
Saddle pads are LeMieux’s core product and the origin of the brand. Since 2011 LeMieux has been bringing out colour collections in which the saddle pad, bandages, fly veil and riding wear are available in the same shade.
If you like everything in matching colours, you will find coordinating pieces for horse and rider. Besides classic models, we also stock saddle pads with a cooling function for warm days.
