Bieman de Haas is a Dutch family business from Boven-Leeuwen and one of the major equestrian wholesalers in Europe. Founded in 1928 as a saddlery and rope maker, the company has worked exclusively for the equestrian sector since the 1960s. The company owns in-house brands such as BR, Premiere and ANKY.

What is Bieman de Haas?
Bieman de Haas is an equestrian wholesale company from the Netherlands, based in Boven-Leeuwen. The company was founded in 1928 as a saddlery and rope maker and initially produced ropes and leather goods for agriculture.
In the mid-1960s it switched entirely to equestrian products and from then on supplied only specialist retailers. From the 1970s onwards, wholesale of imported brands was added. Today the fourth generation of the family runs the company.
Which brands belong to Bieman de Haas?
Bieman de Haas owns several in-house brands. The best known is BR, created in the 1980s. The name stands for Bieman Riding. Later, Premiere was added for a lower price segment.
Since 2012 the company has also owned the ANKY brand, which was founded by dressage rider Anky van Grunsven. For ANKY, Bieman de Haas is responsible for design, production and distribution.
What is the difference between Bieman de Haas and BR?
