Busse at Ahrens Reitsport
BUSSE is an equestrian brand of BUSSE Sportartikel GmbH & Co. KG based in Lohne in Lower Saxony. According to its own information, the company has been active in equestrian sport for 50 years. The range includes equipment for horse and rider, from rugs, fly protection and leg protection through bridles, bits and girths to riding wear, gloves and footwear.
At Ahrens Reitsport you will find, among other things, stable rugs, cooler rugs and exercise sheets, fly rugs and fly masks, training aids and lunging equipment, stirrup accessories and stable equipment from BUSSE. For women riders and children there are riding breeches, show shirts, winter gloves and warm paddock boots.
Where does the BUSSE brand come from?
BUSSE is based in Lohne in the district of Vechta in Lower Saxony. Behind the brand is BUSSE Sportartikel GmbH & Co. KG which, by its own account, has been a partner to equestrian sport for 50 years.
According to BUSSE, the well-being of the horse is at the centre of its product development. To achieve this, the company brings together the experience of its employees and sales partners and exchanges ideas with riders.
How do I wash a BUSSE horse rug?
According to the manufacturer, BUSSE rugs can be machine washed at 30 °C, ideally on a gentle cycle with a liquid rug detergent. For waterproof, breathable turnout rugs, use a liquid detergent for technical fabrics.
Beforehand remove leg straps and cords, close hook-and-loop fastenings and brush out hair thoroughly. Do not use washing powder or fabric softener, allow for one or two extra rinse cycles and spin at no more than 600 to 800 revolutions per minute.
What does BUSSE offer for women riders?
From BUSSE we stock mainly clothing and accessories for women riders for the cold season and for competitions. These include winter gloves, the lined Classic Winter paddock boots and show shirts.
For young riders there are children’s riding breeches. Whether you combine the paddock boots with half chaps or wear them on their own, it is best to try this out in our shop. This way you can find the size and width that fit your foot.
