Cavalli Group at Ahrens Reitsport
The Cavalli Group is an international equestrian wholesaler based in the Netherlands. It was created through the merger of Bieman de Haas, founded in 1928 and owner of brands including BR and ANKY, and Equine Industry, which emerged in 2007 from TRUST Equestrian and became especially well known for anatomical bits. A large number of brands and accessories are sold under the umbrella of the group.
At Ahrens Reitsport you will find practical accessories for the grooming area and stable under the Cavalli name: sweat scrapers made of metal or plastic with rubber, rubber bit guards and a play ball for horses.
Who is the Cavalli Group?
The Cavalli Group is an alliance of two Dutch equestrian wholesalers: Bieman de Haas and Equine Industry. Bieman de Haas was founded in 1928 and developed from a regional supplier into an international provider.
Equine Industry emerged in 2007 from TRUST Equestrian and became known for anatomical bits. Together, both companies aim to further expand product development and partnerships with specialist retailers.
Which sweat scrapers does Cavalli offer?
We stock two sweat scrapers from Cavalli: a long metal version and a curved plastic version with a rubber edge. You can use both to remove excess water from the coat after washing or after hard, sweaty work.
The curved shape adapts to the contours of the horse’s body. The easiest way to find out which version feels better in your hand is to try them in our shop in Tangstedt.
What are rubber bit guards for?
Rubber bit guards sit between the bit ring and the corners of the mouth so that the rings do not rub directly on the skin. The Cavalli bit guards have an opening that allows you to pull them onto the bit.
Whether bit guards are suitable for your horse and which bit width fits best is something you can clarify in a bit fitting. At Ahrens Reitsport, Julia Lühr offers advice in our shop in Tangstedt or at your yard, including with Sprenger test bits.
