Kerbl at Ahrens Reitsport
Kerbl is a family company from Buchbach in Upper Bavaria. Albert Kerbl founded the company in 1984 on the family farm in order to offer farmers practical aids. Today the range extends from stable and field equipment to pet items and its own line for horse and rider.
At Ahrens Reitsport you will mainly find practical items from Kerbl for everyday stable life: grooming kit and grooming boxes, buckets and troughs, haynets and hayracks, lead ropes, lunging rollers, care products and turnout rugs. There are also accessories such as hoof knives or tick removers as well as riding tights for children.
Where does the brand Kerbl come from?
Kerbl comes from Bavaria. Albert Kerbl founded Albert Kerbl GmbH in 1984 in Buchbach in the district of Mühldorf, on the site of the former family farm. The company headquarters are still there today.
What began as a regional wholesale business for agriculture has become an independent family company operating internationally. The group has also included the Irish horse rug specialist Bucas since 2017.
What can I get from Kerbl for the stable?
Kerbl is best known for robust stable and grooming equipment. We stock, for example, curry combs, brush sets and grooming boxes, feed bins, buckets and troughs, haynets and wall-mounted hayracks as well as tie chains and lead ropes.
For working your horse we stock lunging rollers, and turnout rugs for the field. Small items such as hoof knives, tick removers or spare parts for Mistboy manure collectors complete the range. You can see what is in stock in the online shop.
Can I collect large Kerbl items instead of having them sent?
Yes, you can order online and collect from our pick-up station in Tangstedt. If you order and pay on working days by 17:00, your goods will be ready from 18:00. On Saturdays, if you pay by 13:00, they will be ready from 14:00. They remain in the box for 3 days.
We do not ship orders over 20 kg. These can only be collected. Within Germany, shipping otherwise costs €4.95 and is free from an order value of €100.
