KEP Italia is an Italian manufacturer of riding helmets based in Calvagese della Riviera in the province of Brescia. According to the manufacturer, the helmets are entirely designed and made in Italy, with a polycarbonate shell, a core of EPS rigid foam and a breathable inner lining. Many models can be customised.
At Ahrens Reitsport you will find KEP Italia riding helmets for adults, for example from the Cromo 2.0 and Smart Nova ranges, as well as matching inner pads in various designs.
Where do KEP riding helmets come from?
KEP riding helmets come from Italy. The manufacturer is based in Calvagese della Riviera near Brescia and states that its helmets are entirely designed and made in Italy.
Each helmet passes through the hands of several specialists: from the design and choice of materials and moulding of the shell through to the final inspection. According to the manufacturer, embellishments such as crystals or leather inserts are also crafted by hand.
What is a KEP helmet made of?
A KEP helmet consists of an outer shell made of durable polycarbonate and a core of high-density expanded polystyrene (EPS). The inner lining is made of technical fabrics that, according to the manufacturer, are breathable, skin-friendly and antibacterial.
We also stock separate inner pads in versions 1.0 and 2.0, each also available in a narrow shape, as well as a winter pad. We will be happy to work out which pad fits your helmet during the fitting.
How do I find the right size with KEP?
The safest way to find the right size is to try helmets on in the shop. In our helmet fitting we check the fit and standards with you, because a helmet must sit firmly without pinching.
With KEP you can also adjust the fit using the inner pads, which are available in a regular and a narrow shape. If you wish, we can also customise helmets, for example with Swarovski appliqués.
