St. Hippolyt at Ahrens Reitsport
St. Hippolyt is a family-run manufacturer of horse feed from Dielheim in northern Baden, founded in 1988. Under the guiding principle “Feeding like nature”, the company develops and produces mueslis, mashes, mineral feed and supplements at the St. Hippolyt Mühle Ebert mill. A large proportion of the raw materials comes from regional contract farming in the Kurpfalz and Kraichgau regions.
At Ahrens Reitsport you will find hard feed and mueslis from St. Hippolyt, including cereal-free high-fibre feeds, mash, mineral feed, oils and linseed products, supplements and treats.
Where does St. Hippolyt feed come from?
St. Hippolyt feed is developed and produced at the Mühle Ebert mill in Dielheim in northern Baden. The family-run company was founded in 1988.
Many raw materials such as barley, oats, maize, linseed and legumes come from regional contract farming on around 4,000 hectares in the Kurpfalz and Kraichgau regions. Cereal flakes are steamed and rolled, pellets and oils are cold-pressed at below 40 °C.
Which horses is Glyx-Mash suitable for?
According to the manufacturer, Glyx-Mash is intended for horses that are sensitive or allergic to cereal. It is reduced in sugar and starch and free from cereal, molasses and gluten.
Depending on the purpose, St. Hippolyt recommends about 70–200 g per 100 kg body weight, mixed with 1.5 to twice the amount of warm water and fed after about 15 minutes soaking time. If you have any health-related questions, please speak to your vet.
