Kavalkade is a family business from Warendorf that began in 1932 as a saddlery and today operates as a manufacturer and wholesaler of equestrian equipment. In its own words, Kavalkade works “by riders for riders”: products are tested in house and further developed with feedback from professional and leisure riders. The focus is on the horse’s well-being, fit and durability.

Where does the brand Kavalkade come from?
Kavalkade comes from Warendorf in the Münster region. The first saddlery under this name opened there in 1932, and the company is still family owned today.
Kavalkade develops and sells bridles, girths, rugs, saddle pads and other accessories. The team includes active riders who test new products themselves. In addition, Kavalkade works with professional riders and anatomy specialists.
What is the advantage of a neoprene girth?
A neoprene girth is usually lighter and easier to clean than a leather girth. The material is flexible and water repellent and adapts well to the contours of the horse.
Kavalkade offers neoprene girths such as the Kavalpren in versions with elastic, single-sided elastic or without any elastic. Make sure you choose the correct girth length and check stitching and buckles regularly, because the wrong size or lack of care can cause pressure points.
How do I find the correct girth length?
The correct girth length depends on your horse and your saddle, so the girth that has fitted so far is the best starting point. Measure it from buckle to buckle and bring the measurement with you to our shop in Tangstedt.
